DataNotice

Terms of Service

These terms describe the business use of DataNotice by Shopify merchants. Use the service only if you are authorized to act for the store.

The service is operated by Xavier Vallès, an individual based in Spain.

Using DataNotice

DataNotice helps organize connected-product information, assess whether its notice fields are filled in and publish that information through a Shopify theme block. Use is subject to your authorized Shopify access, the selected plan and these terms.

Your information and responsibilities

You remain responsible for deciding which products are connected, the accuracy and completeness of your notices, your rights to use their content and what you publish to customers. Review imports, copied notices and storefront output before relying on them. You retain your rights in the content you provide and authorize its processing and publication as needed to provide the service.

Readiness and a Complete status describe DataNotice's field checks. They are not legal advice, a certification or a guarantee of compliance with the EU Data Act or any other law. Obtain appropriate professional advice for your products and business.

Plans and billing

Subscriptions are managed through Shopify App Pricing. The plan, price, trial and billing conditions displayed by Shopify when you approve a subscription apply. Current connected-product limits are Starter: 25, Growth: 250 and Pro: 1,000. These limits concern products marked connected, not all synced products.

Use Manage plan in DataNotice to review or change your plan through Shopify. A downgrade does not automatically erase existing notices. If the connected count exceeds the new limit, additional connected products are blocked until the count is reduced or the plan is changed. Existing records remain editable, subject to service access and other validation. Contact support for billing questions; do not assume a refund without confirmation.

Acceptable use

Do not use DataNotice to publish unlawful or misleading information, infringe others' rights, upload malicious files, bypass access controls or plan limits, access another store's data, or disrupt the service. Keep your Shopify account secure and report suspected unauthorized access.

Service and intellectual property

Rights in the DataNotice software and service remain with their respective rights holders. Your subscription permits authorized use of the service; it does not transfer ownership of the software. Shopify and other third-party services remain subject to their own terms.

Availability and changes

We aim to operate DataNotice reliably, but interruptions, maintenance, errors and third-party outages can occur. Continuous availability or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Check the result of saves, imports and publication requests, particularly after an error. Keep copies of information important to your business.

Features and these terms may change. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate service or contact channel. No statement here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Suspension and termination

Access may be restricted where necessary to address abuse, security risks or unlawful use, or where Shopify authorization or service dependencies are unavailable. You can stop using the service and uninstall it in Shopify. Review Shopify's subscription details when ending use. Data handling after uninstall is described in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, subject to mandatory applicable rules.
